Chance is slim: More information is needed to answer your question better. Your relative may likely survive with residual neurological deficits in cognitive and motor functions (ability to eat, move limbs, walk, etc.) after recovery. Quality of life will be certainly afected for your relative.

Hard to say: With bleeding inside the brain, the consequence can be permanent. It is essentially a type of stroke. Perhaps, the treating doctor will have better idea.
