Skin abscesses: Furunculosis is the condition where small skin abscess (looking like pimples or boils) erupt over the skin. Usually these spontaneously drain before the next batch erupt. That being said, the scabbing & throbbing don't seem consistent with furunculosis. However, it's difficult to tell sometimes. The biopsy report should be definitive.
