Sounds like it.: Consult with a surgeon, who can usually tell on physical exam whether or not you have an epigastric hernia. Sometimes, this could be a diastasis, or separation, between your rectus muscles.

I have had Upper GI , ultra sound, pain upper left side. Lots of indigestion, clearing throat and cough. Doctor found Hitnal hernia and maybe a nerve ?
