Is there a way to minimize the side effects of metformin? Im supposed to take 1500 but only take 1000 mg because im not managing the effects as it is.

Eat first, split dos: Make sure you are taking it on a empty stomach. Eat first, then take it. And see if splitting the dose up helps.
