Referred Pain: Moderate DDD of the spine can refer pain into the hips, and genital region. There are other causes for testicular pain and therefore you can not assume it is related to the spine. May start with your primary doctor make sure there is no urogenital problems or other systemic issues. If your pain is severe enough, a diagnostic spinal injection may help to reduce the pain and confirm this connection
