That's plenty: If indeed your weight loss is due to depression (not safe to assume, could be other causes) you should discuss your treatment with your PCP. A discussion of potential factors leading to weight loss and treatment of your mood, the risks and their benefits could therefore take place. A referral to a psychiatrist may be warranted as well. There's plenty to unpack in "don't want meds though."
