Rickets can be cured: Nutritional rickets whether due to calcium, phosphate, or vitamin d deficiency can be cured by giving back what is missing of those 3. Resolving the bine disease generally takes several months. There are other forms of rickets that are inherited due to gene mutations and not curable per se but are very treatable again by giving calcium, phosphate, and/or vitamin d.
