See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, positive "FIT" test does not necessarily mean cancer, just that there is some bleeding in your colon. It would be prudent to consult your doctor for further work-up of this finding and your other symptoms.
