6yrold-gas pain on occasion; 3-4 bm per day;gas w/clear mucus;formed stool;no other symptom,fever,etc; cbc-no infection;any ideas? mucus inconsistent

Diarrhea: Hi Angela, diarrhea can occur for many reasons, I can provide a diagnosis without further history and testing, but things to consider are irritable bowel syndrome; food allergy; a malabsorption syndrome such as celiacs disease; or an inflammatory bowel disease (i.e. crohns disease or ulcerative colitis).
