Get checked: While the change in lifestyle and diet could explain the weight loss, mucus in stool is not normal and I would see a doc and get some blood tests done and possibly a colonoscopy

Weight loss: Hard to know if 218 to 202 is OK. If you are not too overweight and doing OK relax and keep your work going. If you are still too heavy you should see a nurse who will help you with needed weight loss. Hope all will be OK.

You are on right : Track. Cutting junk and exercise makes your health better. No need to worry about the weight at this point. Try increasing the walk. Periodic examination by a medical specialist is enough and periodic means every six months.
