A member asked:

I will be traveling by plane soon, and i will be 28 weeks pregnant do you recommend compression socks for the trip? it's only a 3hrs flight. 26yrs old

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No compression socks: Compression socks are generally a pain: to get on, to wear for a period of time, and then to get off. For a three hour flight, using compression socks is not necessary. Try and do some of the exercises listed in the in flight magazine, or at least get up to walk once during the flight (I'm sure you'll need to use the bathroom :) ). Of course I am assuming you have no history of a blood clot.
