Derm says i may have stasis dermatitis. prescribed triamcinolone for itch and recommended compression socks. anything else that can help?

It depends,,: It depends on how you are doing with your current condition(s), namely hypothyroidism and your pregnancy. if everything is going smoothly, it looks like there isn't much more that can be done apart from standing and light walking to avoid a long term sedentary position and to help the blood flow along. drinking plenty of fluids like water could also help. Underlying condition: Stasis Dermatitis is cause by venous stasis / venous insufficiency. Evaluation for treatable venous insufficiency should be done and if varicose veins or reflux in the saphenous or related veins is found, they should be treated. This should be done in addition the compression and steroid cream. I would recommend consulting a vein specialist / Phlebologist to see if there are additional treatments.
