Fibroids and uterus: You can have a embolization of your uterine fibroids done by an interventional radiologist in a hospital done in the radiology suite there. The embolization will cause the deprivation of blood going to the fibroid and it will bleed again. You can avoid a hysterectomy and not bleed again from it. Speak to your gyn about this type of embolization in your case.
