Asthmatic: Bronchitis is very common and some believe is due to allergc reaction to colonizing bacteria in the bronchial tubes The treatment is usually simultaneous administration of an antibiotic and anti asthmatic inhaler(s) X ray will be negative. Suggest you discuss this possibility with your Primary Care Physician. Just a thought!] Dr Z
