Needs confirmation.: This diagnosis would need confirmation both via an official X-ray reading by a Radiologist as well as directed testing to confirm that Mom has even acquired an infection with TB along the way.

Perhaps you: misunderstood the technologist? That would be an impossible diagnosis to make on an ankle X-ray since there are no specific features. Plus, the technologists should not be making diagnoses they are not trained or licensed for.
