Plantar Fasciitis?: If the pain is worse in the morning, making it difficult to walk, and is better after walking on it awhile or stretching out your calves, it might be plantar fasciitis. If you are a runner or participate in sports that require running or jumping, such as basketball, volleyball, or tennis, then plantar fasciitis is a good bet. Check with your orthopedic surgeon to make sure it isn't something worse.

Posterior tibial: Tendinitis is most likely. You need better supportive shoes and inserts like super feet. When your feet flatten it causes strain on this tendon causing pain and swelling. If not improved see podiatrist for orthotics and immobilization. X-rays help check foot alignment. Blood test will not help. Mri can check condition of tendon.
