Neurosurgery 35 years experience
Low back pain: Low, mid and upper back pain can be debilitating. With symptoms last more than six months it is important to get MRI imaging of the spine and an evaluation with a neurosurgeon. Arm numbness can be caused by holding your arms bent or elevated for long periods of time. An electromyogram and nerve conduction study can help with the diagnosis.
