Ilcer: Will not prescribe for lesion that I have not examined. Any OTC pain reliever will take the edge off until you can be properly examined and treatment planned by s Dentist.

Dental exam: See dentist ASAP about this pain. A clinical evaluation is the only way to determine what is going on. In the meantime OTC medications can help. A soft diet avoiding hard crunchy and spicy foods will help you feel better. Healing may take about 2weeks.

Oral surgeon: Not normal. Could be something to worry about. See oral surgeon for evaluation/recommendations.
