Not Diagnostic : T2 prolongation is just a signal change which could be due to any number of reasons but commonly is due to a small stroke or small vessel disease. If that is the case, then no it wouldn't grow. Without seeing the scan would be very hard to tell. Happy to review everything in a virtual consult. Best of luck!
