80 yr. old woman. fracture in neck 22 months ago. then, a shoulder injury. why, for six months have i had painful, burning, itching in both armpits.

Probably nerve: It is possible that the neck fracture caused a nerve injury leading to these symptoms. If you had to wear a neck brace for a while this also could have contributed to it. Please speak to your treating doctor about these symptoms.
