Rhogam works: Please be very sure you comply and receive future injections as you should. Back before this, rh problems were deadly and killed a great many children before birth or required exchange transfusion after; be thankful that we have something that has made this largely medical history.

Rh blood type: Being rh-, any child you bear that has rh+ blood type might be in danger of severe anemia. This incompatibility can be prevented by Rhogam injection at 28 weeks of gestation and again soon after the baby's birth . Having received Rhogam during your first pregnancy and after delivery will help prevent problems with your second baby. Good luck.
