I don't know ....: but I have heard this complaint before. One is tempted to suggest something like healing fracture similar to the itching from a healing skin laceration. It may be biochemical, such a the itching associated with some forms of liver or kidney disease. Or it may be nerve dysfunction or a type of neuropathy helped by something like gabapentin. A careful history and physical exam by Doc should help:)

Tough to say: Hmmm, that is tough to answer. Vague symptoms such as the "deep down itch bone pain" may be potassium fluctuations, deep muscle cramps, fibromyalgia, etc, etc. Your best bet is to get a good evaluation and get properly diagnosed with possible labs work etc., so that the best treatment can occur for you.
