Diarrhea: The commonist causes would be a viral intestinal infection or form of food poisoning or intolerance. This should resolve in a day or two without specific treatment except rest, good fluid intake and a no roughage diet. Kaopectate can be taken as needed. If diarrhea persists longer, a stool culture to check for pathogens is indicated.
