Maybe...: The injection was probably Rocephin (ceftriaxone). The pills were probably zithromax (azithromycin). Azithromcin does have the unfortunate side effect of GI upset, including diarrhea (happens to me every time i take it!). It should not last for more than 48 hours. If it does, i would advise to go see your primary care doctor.
