Yesterday, following 3-4 days of constipation, had a normal (large volume) bowel movement in am. took dog for walk. had diarrhea while walking. got home and had explosive (before reaching toilet) diarrhea four more times. this has become a pattern?

Did you use laxative before this event? If the answer is yes, likely you have overused a strong osmotic laxative then you should discuss the issue with your primary care doctor for an alternative. Good luck.
