Dysphagia?: Narrowing of the esophagus due to inflammation, scarring or tumor can cause food to get stuck. Not rare with chronic reflux/heartburn symptoms-typically solids. Tight lower esoph sphincter can cause also. Abnormalities in muscles/nerves/coordination of swallow cause problems with solids and liquids. See a GI doc. Tests include xray swallow, endoscopy, muscle test (manometry). Rx: help or cure.
