A member asked:

My t.bili is 1.1, my alt is 45 and my ggt is 61. i am 48 yrs. old , female and average 1 alcoholic drink a month. are these results concerning?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: but no medical question can really be answered without knowing your entire medical history, medications, family history etc. Your values are just slightly elevated. Any elevation of the ALT should prompt testing for other causes, including viral hepatitis (esp C), history of exposure to other toxic substances (like industrial solvents) and many other things. Talk to your doctor who did testing.
