A member asked:

My grandpa has only 10% heart function and im wondering what that is compared to? how do you say this is a 10 and this is a 60

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cardiac function : We don't refer to cardiac function as you asked. The ejection fraction is our common measure. It represents the fraction of the volume in the heart ejected with each contraction. A 60% would be a normal range. A10% would be severely depressed.
