Your friend have : Ischemic cardiomiopathy. The left ventricle is weak due to the heart attack. 30% ejection fraction it's a measurement of the left ventricular effectiveness in pumping blood. Normal is more than 55%. If surgery not an option your friend need to change his lifestyle and follow100% the cardiologist medical regimen. Cardiac rehabilitation very important. Good luck.
