Well: Blunt trauma such as this could have bruised the bone and causing sever soft tissue damage. You really should see your doctor for if you are having trouble moving the hand you need to have it checked

Maybe ganglion?: An outpouching from the tendon sheath. Most commonly on the dorsal surface of the wrist. If it doesn't bother you leave it be. Otherwise go see a hand orthopedist.
