Hematoma: If you hit wrist - evan after swelling down and pain less severe - there is usually some degree of blood collection in subcutaneous tissue ( hematoma) and even in surface of bone ( periosteum) . It can attract more calcium as healing process and lump become hard and takes months to resolve. If any doubt have a X ray and see your doc.
