I am seizure prone and dr. wanted to put me on antidepressants. what what i understand, they could cause a seizure. is this true?

Some: If your doctor considering to start you on antidepressant - it is ok with history of seizure. But certain antidepressant should be avoided in such circumstances - as Wellbutrin ( Bupropion ) - it can lower a threshold of seizure .Make sure you consult with your doctor proper choice and expectations . Also maintain heathy diet and regular exercise and sleep. Keep good routine.
