Can too many ultrasound during pregnancy cause damage to the fetus?

Probably not: Although less is always more when it comes to testing and medications in pregnancy, there have been no studies proving harm to the fetus resulting from ultrasounds.

No: Ultrasound exam does not harm the fetus. Be aware that every test has a margin of error. The more times you do a test the more likely there will be an error which will lead to more unnecessary tests. Be sparing in your use of imaging.
