Several Causes: Jaw pain (upper, lower or both) can be related to a number of different causes. Without more information regarding which jaw, where in or on the jaw(s), onset, etc. it would be difficult to provide a definitive answer. A clinical evaluation supported by any indicated studies (x-rays, etc.) would be recommended to determine what is causing your pain and treatment if indicated.

More info needed: Maxillary or mandibular? Pain to hot/cold/sweets ? Continuous or episodic? Restoration in place? Last dental check up and cleaning? As you can see, you'll need to to be evaluated by a local dentist.
