Probably a hernia: Your symptoms can be classic for an early inguinal hernia (groin hernia). The abdominal sac (peritoneum) is probably starting to herniate into the scrotum pushing on the inguinal nerve; thus, causing the pain. Resolution: stop straining or See a surgeon for a hernia check and repair
