Medication Section: Latuda causes akathisia in 6 to 22% of patients. The higher dose you take, the higher risk you have. Zyprexa causes akathisia in 3 to 27% of patients. Same risk with increased doses. With similar risk, this may be a more personalized decision for you on which ever one makes you feel better overall. There are also potential treatments for akathisia that you should talk to your doctor about.

It will effect each: individually differently. Akathisia occurs in up to 22% with Latuda & is dose-related. Akathisia/akathisia events occur in up to 27% with Zyprexa. Akathisia occurs most often at a Zyprexa dose of 15 mg/day. This data was obtained from the Drugs. Com website.
