PID: Are you under treatment for the infection? Ureaplasma does not cause PID; it does usually affect the bladder. Your PID was most likely due to another organism, and it is always wise to treat it, even if there are no symptoms. If you have a healthy immune system, the chance of sepsis is remote. It is best to eradicate the urea-plasma, and diagnose and treat the offending organism of the PID.
