Pretty rash: Based on your observation over time, doesn't seem likely to be dangerous. You didn't note that they are painful, itch, are raised or fluid filled or blanch on pressure. With the limited location - something came in contact with your skin cells - and they've responded mostly by changing the amount of pigment. Take a picture -- leave them alone unless get new signals - and compare in 1 week/mo.
