May be Fe deficient: One can throw off one's basic iron studies by taking a vitamin with iron, or eating a steak, before having the blood drawn. This is worth watching and perhaps supplementing, and I'd urge you to get checked to be sure you are not losing blood in your stool or some other way besides monthly. You may have an ulcer or other lesion.
