Easy but...: Oral herpes is easy to catch, because many adults have it, but it presumably requires getting some saliva or kissing areas with sores. Nobody really knows what happens if a person just kisses "other" facial areas of a herpes patient. Oral herpes is considered a normal, universal infection in humans because so many people have it. A blood test can tell if one has herpes even if he never gets sores.
