Be selective: Recent studies seem to conclude that too much of any supplement can be potentially dangerous. Multivitamins, iron, magnesium, folate, selenium, and others can have more of a drug like effect at greater than normal or natural levels. Vitamins for energy?: This depends on the nature of your problem with energy, your diet, and whether you have difficulty absorbing the vitamins coming to you through food. For instance, absorbing B12 requires having sufficient intrinsic factor. Also, many people are deficient in magnesium, a co factor in our body's producing atp. See a holistic, integrative, or functional medicine physician to determine your needs.
