It might be: That is a lot of surgery on a relatively small structure...lots of nerves affected. Nerve injury can often result in a burning and numb feeling. So I believe it is probably within normal healing expectations. But I am sure your surgeon would want you to call if you have any questions or concerns, so I would feel free to check it out with her/him, too, Hope you heal well and fast. Good wishes:)
