Get seen ASAP: You may have strep throat, even though you have no fever. If strep is not treated within 10 days of onset of symptoms, you are at risk for rheumatic heart disease, though rare. Consider a Healthtap Prime Consult, or see a doc today or tomorrow. Remember, rapid strep tests have up to a 30% false negative rate, so if one is done and is negative, have it sent for a Strep Culture (not throat culture)
