Dr says bronchitis. i have had fever, chills, muscle aches, headache, heaviness in my chest, insomnia, but no cough. is this possible?

Yes: It is possible to not have a cough but not common. It could be thick secretions so plenty of fluids I would hope you are on antibiotics which should cover any bacterial infectionwou may have even if its sinus.
