If your doctor is: tapering your dose, he or she should ALSO be telling you how to manage your anxiety without it, either through other medications (like buspirone or antidepressants) and/or through non-pharmacological management techniques like relaxation therapies, meditation, yoga and others. Please talk to your doctor and/or get a referral to a therapist. Taking it ONCE won't hurt taper, but more often will.
