Taper more slowly: Reducing your clonazepam dose may be causing withdrawal symptoms - anxiety in your case. About 1/3 people who take this type of medication for more than a month develop a withdrawal syndrome when reducing the dose. Severe withdrawal can be life threatening because it can cause seizures.
