Primary? IIH? Pseudo: A partially empty sella means that the pituitary gland (which usually sits in the sella) has shrunken. The key is to figure out if it is from primary or secondary causes. Primary means pituitary - you would've been left with hormone abnormalities. However, most secondary causes are from idiopathic intracranial hypertension, which causes headaches & is common in obese females. TTYD for confirm test
