I've pins & need feeling in my hand when it's moved a certain way but only in my ring finger up to my elbow & i don't wear a ring, it's like a shock ?

Nerve: It appears that a nerve gets pinched with that maneuver. It's possible that the impingement occurs at the wrist causing radiation of sharp pain. A hand surgeon or a neurologist is best qualified to evaluate and advise you about where the impingement is occurring and what's causing it. Any appropriate tests will be ordered.
