You did no harm: by briefly inserting your contact lens. But most eye specialists recommend that you leave them out of your eye when you have any sign of infection or inflammation around the eye/eyelid. The contact lens is considered a foreign body and its presence can complicate and prolong the normal healing process. Use warm compresses; stye will usually resolve on own after a few days. If not, to Eye doctor:)

See answer: It's not a good idea to wear contacts if you have a sty. If you are questioning wether or not that contact is contaminated, it's not so long as the sty wasn't open and draining.
