Wisdom teeth: Wisdom teeth are usually the last molars to erupt in an adult. Usually they are either impacted of if erupted in the mouth are mall positioned causing the food to get packed in there . Because of their position, sometimes it is even hard to floss in that area. In situations like these it is advisable to extract them. However, in a few situations, they erupt normally and then it's ok to leave them.

No wisdom: Those teeth usually erupt in the 17 to 25 year old range, at a time that you would be considered enlightened. Some possible problems include pain, swelling, and food impaction. Consult with your dentist regarding your teeth.

Funny: It provides no wisdom. The naming comes from the fact that by 18 years of age a person should have achieved some wisdom. As we evolve we will no longer have wisdom teeth as they are a vestigle organ. You can put an appendix in this category as well. The side effects of wisdom teeth are possible cavities, periodontal disease and TMJ from mal alignment.

Wisdom teeth........: If there is enough room for a wisdom tooth to erupt, there are no side effects, other than some slight discomfort as with any erupting tooth. If not, it can become infected, develop cysts, contribute to tooth decay and local gum problems, damage adjacent tooth, etc. It imparts no wisdom. Hopefully you have the wisdom to monitor its development and see you dentist regularly for checkups.
